In my previous AINS post, I mentioned that I had my first exam coming up. Well lucky me, I was able to pass; barely:

The exam is scored from 1 – 100, with 70 being the passing target. You can see, I averaged just above it. Going through my first exam was a little nerve wrecking. While I was taking it, I felt as if I struggled more on chapter 3 than anything else, and my performance report showed that. There were a few number questions, but I wasn’t too worried about those. What I was worried about were the many terms the quiz can use from the book. I was confused on a few, but using the elimination tactic, I was able to come out with a passing grade.

One thing that irritated me was when you complete the quiz, you don’t receive this information right off the bat. It was basically a screen that say Pass or Fail; no further information. I guess I’m used to instant gratification and hoping to see what I missed. Oh, and you won’t be able to see the exact questions you missed as well – which makes sense from a testing point, but that means I honestly don’t know what to work on.

Regardless, I passed. Now the road to taking exam B. Wish me luck!
